''It is horrifying that we have to fight our own government to save the environment.''
- Ansel Adams
Because of the environmental pollution, deforestation, endangered plant, and animal species, the planet we live on is suffering, earth's resources are depleting and human existence is threatened on the planet.
Every being on Earth deserves access to clean air and clean water. We can achieve it by doing little things every day to help save the earth if we change your daily habits.
The little things can make a big difference. It only takes a second to be environmentally conscious. It's a responsibility and privilege.
Once you are more environmentally conscious, you can also educate others on doing the same. Here are a few simple ways to direct your efforts to support the environment:
- Prevent the huge plastic pollution problem and help clean our plastic oceans. It is killing our sea life and contaminating our seafood.
- Pay attention to how you use water: It's a very important natural resource. check for leaks and get them fixed, take shorter showers, turn off the faucet while you brush your teeth, generally make conscious choices to lower your consumption and avoid wasting water.
Water is so precious, we can't waste or pollute it.
- Plant More Trees: Unless there's any law restricting you from growing trees, choose an open area, go ahead, grow trees. encourage your friends and family to join you planting trees.
- Switch off anything that uses electricity when not in use and employs light bulbs that use less energy in order to prevent the greenhouse gas emissions. Compact fluorescent or LED light bulbs last longer than conventional light bulbs and also use only one-quarter of the energy.
- Install solar panels on your roof in order to drop in utility bill price.
- Don't use electronic exercise machines: use a real bicycle, or walk for pleasure.
- Use the curbside recycling and be sure to separate your recycling into glass, metal, paper and so on.
- Use a reusable cup for your coffee instead of a disposable cup. Billions of mini cups of coffee are sold every year. Also, use reusable bottles for water: Buy a glass or metal bottle and fill it with water.
- Don't waste food: Plan meals that you will eat and store your leftovers or share it with others. The amount of global food waste produced each year is more than enough to feed the nearly 1 billion hungry people in the world. wasting food means squandering the resources that went into the production of that food.
- Walk more, drive less: Walk or bike for local trips when your destination is close to home. swap out your car for your feet or bike.
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions: Sometimes leave your car at home or combine your errands in one trip. save gas and time.
- Take mass transit to get to work, school or other destinations especially if there is a bus system in the city that operates diesel-electric hybrid buses.
- Checking your tire pressure: Underinflated tires decrease fuel economy and increase tire wear.
- Drive a hybrid or all-electric car. There's a growing selection of both hybrid and all-electric cars on the market. save the environment and save your money.
- Instead of throwing away usable household items, consider donating them away.
- Refuse plastic carrier bags: Cloth bags are better.
When you become conscious of the environmental problems, you will be engaging in activism, and participate in awareness of environmental issues. then recruit family members and friends to join you. We can create a better environment and preserve our resources by volunteering.
Let’s work together to make the world a better place. Change your habits to save water, save energy, save the environment, and conserve natural resources.
