At dusk on a winter evening in southern England, there’s nothing more soothing than the sound of a flock of 200,000 European starlings creating black waves in the sky.
The starlings of southern England return to their roosts every evening in winter creating an incredible display of aerial precision. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life.
The murmurations are such an amazing scene to watch. It must be one of the most magical wildlife spectacles.
